History of the New Brunswick Summer Festival
Since its inception in 1994, the New Brunswick Summer Music Festival has attracted some of Canada’s finest classical musicians.
The concert series includes four evening concerts with a special evening finale. The series features the work of two composers - one well known to audiences and the other much less known. This provides unity to the programming and an opportunity to bring music of little known composers to our audience.
Even with the better-known composer, we often present works that are seldom heard in live performance.
